An enjoyable wait at all major national and international airports – in Lufthansa lounges comfort is an experience. In First Class, Senator and Business Lounges passengers can withdraw from the noise and bustle and enjoy a superb range of services.
Lounges at Frankfurt Airport
Fourteen Lufthansa lounges distributed through all terminal areas as well as the exclusive Lufthansa First Class Terminal invite their guests at Frankfurt Airport to relax, freshen up and feel comfortable.
Access and opening times
First and Business Class passengers as well as status customers and United Airlines Global Services Card members can enjoy the use of this lounge daily from 05.00 – 13.00 hours (last admission 12.30 hours), provided that they have arrived in Frankfurt on certain flights.
Location and facilities
The Welcome Lounge is located immediately behind Baggage Reclaim in Arrivals Area B and is spread over two floors. On the upper floor a cosy bistro area, a substantial and varied breakfast buffet, comfortable armchairs, a quiet room, a smokers’ room, work areas, lavatories and two shower rooms ensure passengers can relax after their flight. On the ground floor, which is easily reached by lift or stairs, there are 26 modern shower rooms to facilitate a refreshing start to the day. A concierge at the shower area reception desk takes care of any specific customer requests. The showers are allocated at the lounge reception desk.
For First Class passengers, HON Circle Members and Senators there is an exclusive ironing service available in the Welcome Lounge. Any passenger who would like to have their shirt or blouse ironed simply needs to hang it on the coat hanger in the locker above the wash basin before taking a shower and it will be returned promptly, freshly pressed.

At both Frankfurt and Munich Airport you can drive directly up to the terminal and hand your car over to our valet parking service. At many airports outside Europe you will also enjoy the reassurance that personal assistants are taking care of matters for you on the spot.

If official regulations permit, you will also be accompanied through security and passport control. Individual information
You will be informed in person about connecting gates and lounges if you are transferring at an airport outside Europe. We will operate your flight exactly the way you want it and ensure the optimal management of all the necessary processes.
Forward-thinking organisation
Should there be a last-minute delay to your departure, we will ensure that your flight is rebooked accordingly. If you are combining a Lufthansa or SWISS long-haul flight with a Lufthansa Private Jet flight, the personal assistant will work with the Hub Control Centre to ensure your flights are seamlessly coordinated – including limousine transfer between the private jet and the airport lounge.

The caviar service is as much an intrinsic part of First Class as the red rose. And passengers on day and evening flights are able to enjoy this as a separate course. In response to the wishes of many of our passengers, we also offer a different starter with a variety of small savoury bites.
Fine food on a clean and simple design
The First Class experience is not only reflected on the plate, but also in the whole tableware: a purist design and thoughtful touches such as salt and pepper mills for each passenger, an additional bowl of olive oil, elegant glass carafes on the First Class bar containing three different types of water, a fine china cheese platter, high-quality cutlery and a stylish serviette ring emphasise the first-class offer on board.
Dining is now more individual and more flexible
After their first meal on board, our First Class passengers can also order an extensive selection of small dishes later on. We offer a choice of these throughout the entire flight and they vary depending on the flight duration. For example, passengers may be able to choose soup or stew, a hot main course, a cold cuts and cheese platter, high-quality burger or cake from the menu.
