Food and Beverage

Taking Canadian Dining to New Heights

Air Canada’s culinary partner, Chef Hawksworth, will create a selection of seasonal dining options including appetizers, main courses and desserts, complementing our current route-inspired dining on international flights.

« It’s an honour and a pleasure to be invited by Air Canada to share my concept of Canadian cuisine and to create compelling dishes for their passengers that will showcase the very best of our region. I look forward to giving passengers a small taste of my restaurant here in Vancouver and taking my personal culinary philosophy to new heights with Air Canada. »

A World of Flavour

On most flights* departing Canada, following an after-take off cocktail service, start your meal with a Hawksworth signature appetizer, such as poached chilled prawns with fennel, orange, pickled onion, horseradish celeriac puree and breadcrumbs.

Finish with a selection of cheeses and a glass of port, fresh seasonal fruit or Chef Hawksworth’s signature dark chocolate fondant from our presentation trolley.

A Culinary Journey

In addition to our Canadian-influenced and more traditional offerings, our menus often feature dishes sourced from other traditions such as chicken biryani, Thai green curry and Moroccan tagine.

Travelling to a destination in Asia? The journey begins in-flight with route-inspired dishes such as authentic Japanese meals on flights to Tokyo, noodle soups, dim sum and traditional Chinese and Korean dishes.

Express Option

Our Express Meal option allows you to enjoy your appetizer, served with warm bread and butter, mixed greens, cheese, crackers and fruit, presented all at once, shortly after take-off.

Flexible Options

Want to spend a little more time working or sleeping, or just not hungry quite yet?

Our Flexible Meal option allows you to enjoy any of the featured main courses, served with warm bread and butter, mixed greens, cheese, crackers and fruit at any time later during the flight.
